Google Android Secret SSL/TLS update 2024-SEP-14 breaks SSL/TLS and IMAPS

Google (Meta) probably made a "secret" update of Android that breaks many SSL/TLS applications at 2024-09-14. A "secret" update is an update that is pushed to your mobile even if automatic updates (e.g. Google Play) are disabled. This problem shows as some EMail clients (e.g. GMail, K-9 Mail) fail to connecte to a imaps mail server (i.e. to fetch mail). The problem is verified on Android 7.1.1, Android 13, Android 14, but only if those were online (by WiFi) at the time.
Some Android (e.g. 7.1.1) got a new "secret" update at 2024-SEP-15, which made imaps work again.
